Seminar of Iranian new type vehicle approval and exported-vehicle homologation was held in Guangzhou

On Dec. 14-15 of 2016, the seminar of Iranian new type vehicle approval and exported-vehicle homologation which was jointly hosted by Iran Standard and Quality Inspection Company (ISQI) and China National Automobile Quality Supervision and Test Center(Xiang Yang)(NAST), and sponsored by Guangzhou DATS Homologation Service Co., Ltd. (DATS)was successfully held in Guangzhou China. The Executive Vice-president of ISQI, Mr. Saeed Tajik, the Vehicle Inspection And Engineering Manager of ISQI, Mr. Ali Alinahari, the Assistant General Director of NAST and Director of Homologation Office, Mr. Li Xueqiang, the General Manager of DATS, Mr. Zhou Jin, and more than 80 representatives from Chinese vehicle manufacturers attended this seminar.

 

At the seminar, Mr. Saeed Tajik first briefly introduced the ISQI and its business. In addition, Mr. Tajik stated a complete explanation about the licensing process of after-sales service in Iran. Then Mr. Ali Alinahari provided a review of the vehicle industry of Iran in the past 6 years, and summarized Chinese vehicles performance in the Iranian market. He also systematically represented the vehicle Type-Approval process, technical regulations and COP requirement. After that, he answered the questions from the participating representatives of Chinese vehicle manufacturers. In his representation, Mr. Ali Alinahari on behalf of ISQI, declared that NAST is the sole agency of ISQI in China, and NAST can accept Chinese manufacturers’ application for vehicle and component product which is planned to export to Iran, and conduct the vehicle inspection for Type Approval and COP inspection in China.

 

Mr. Hu Youbo, the project manager of NAST’s homologation office, introduced the business cooperation between NAST and ISQI, and NAST’s capability of homologation service for Chinese exported vehicle and component. Mr. Zhou Jin ,the general manager DATS and Mr. Guo Xiaoming, the testing manager of DATS shared the latest COP requirements of RDW and the future regulatory information about ECE in European Union with the participating representatives.

 

This seminar let the Chinese domestic vehicle manufacturers have the first opportunity to comprehensive understand the requirements of Iranian vehicle market. It had attracted wide attention from the Iranian and Chinese vehicle industry. Considering ISQI's two important activities of vehicles quality evaluation and customer satisfaction surveys upon which ranks and declares all vehicles in the Iranian market which has a very large role in determining the market share of automaker companies, in the future NAST and ISQI will held another joint seminar in this field for Chinese automakers. Thus Chinese automakers in collaboration with NAST and ISQI will be able to enter to Iranian market with a good quality condition in the mentioned areas. In the future, ISQI and NAST will work together on promoting the vehicle industry cooperation between Iran and China.
